Pay Rate: £15.49 per hour

Hours: Locum contract. 15 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the daily care and supervision of children aged 2-5 years.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel valued and secure.
  • Assisting with snack times, nappy changing, and personal care routines as required.
  • Working closely with the Pre-School Leader and other team members to monitor children’s progress and provide feedback to parents/carers.
  • Ensuring the pre-school environment is clean, safe, and organised.
  • Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all children.

Essential Requirements:

  • A genuine love for working with young children.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of early childhood development.
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
