What you will do:

  • Provide professional leadership and manage responsibilities within the Learning Disability Partnership as part of the extended Senior Management Team.
  • Deliver a countywide specialist learning disability Physiotherapy service that aligns with CQC regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and professional development, ensuring all Physiotherapy staff and students receive the necessary training and support.
  • Lead specialist Physiotherapy input in the planning, development, and evaluation of services, managing defined projects as delegated by the LDP management team.
  • Manage a highly complex caseload as an autonomous practitioner, planning and implementing appropriate clinical interventions based on thorough assessments.
  • Foster multi-disciplinary and multi-agency collaboration to centre care around patients, ensuring active participation of both patients and carers in decision making.
