  • Lead group therapy sessions focusing on life skills, substance misuse, relapse prevention, and well-being.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify and address patients' occupational needs.
  • Record, observe, and report on patient progress, ensuring any concerns are promptly communicated and documented.
  • Ensure clinical records and computerised information systems are accurately maintained.

About You:

They are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is values-led, resourceful, and has a strong passion for working in mental health. You should possess the following:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy (MSc pre-registration or BSc) with HCPC registration.
  • Experience in mental health settings, particularly within inpatient services, is highly desirable.
  • Confidence in leading both 1:1 and group therapy sessions.
  • A proactive, creative, and compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Experience in supervising and managing junior colleagues is an advantage but not essential.

What They Offer:

  • Support from two Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • A dedicated OT department with facilities including a gym, ADL kitchen, computer room, and therapy room.
  • Active involvement within the OT professional network.
  • Opportunities for career development and further training.
  • Competitive salary package.
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata).
  • An additional day of leave for your birthday.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
  • DBS check cost coverage.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing CPD training.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Subsidised meals on duty (£1 per meal).
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Access to an online benefits and cashback rewards platform.

If you are passionate about making a difference in mental health rehabilitation and recovery, we would love to hear from you. Apply today through Sanctuary Personnel to join a supportive and dynamic team where your skills and experience will be valued and nurtured.
