Sanctuary Personnel are delighted to announce opportunities for Occupational Therapists to join our client's exceptional East Surrey Occupational Therapy team.

About the Team

Their team offers a competitive starting salary equivalent to that of a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in a healthcare setting. For newly qualified therapists, they provide a supportive preceptorship programme. Flexible working patterns are also available to help balance your work and personal life.

They offer a wide range of training courses to enhance your knowledge and enable you to deliver a service you can be proud of. Their supportive team provides daily informal supervision, regular formal supervision, and peer support. They will equip you with the necessary tools to manage your work effectively, promoting both autonomy and confidence in your practice.

About the Role

Join their supportive, skilled, and creative team that values good work ethics, honesty, reliability, and sound clinical reasoning. If you are a pragmatic, driven, and creative Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact, this is the perfect environment for you to thrive.

You will work with clients who have varying and/or complex needs, employing a strength-based approach. Your clients may include the elderly and frail, those with learning disabilities, physical or sensory impairments, or mental health issues. This diverse role will help you develop a broad range of skills for frontline holistic occupational therapy practice within a social care setting. Your responsibilities will include assessments such as moving and handling risk assessments, aiming to support and empower clients to live meaningful lives within the community.

In this community-based role, you will work closely with team members and other organisations to provide an integrated service supporting vulnerable adults and their carers. You will visit clients in their homes and other settings, such as residential care and nursing homes.

  • In-depth knowledge of medical conditions and their impact on individuals, along with knowledge of the impact of long-term disability on individuals, carers, and families.
