The salary for this permanent Senior Mammographer job is £52,000 - £57,000 per annum.
Duties:
- Work as part of a team and under the overall guidance of the Radiology Manager to ensure the highest standard of service to patients, consultants and visitors
- Acting in accordance with the standards of conduct, performance and ethics set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Requirements of the Senior Mammographer:
- Be familiar with the range of technical applications available on imaging equipment
- Demonstrate a wide range of problem-solving skills
- MRI experience desirable
- Minimally a BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent required
- Current valid Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration required
- Relevant post Graduate experience with a post DCR in Mammography ascertain in the UK from a HCPC recognised institute required
