Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a HR Business Partner to work for Sefton Council.
This is a full-time locum role paying £18.55 - £23.20 per hour
Key Responsibilites:
- Provide advice and guidance to Children’s Services/schools on the Council’s HR Policies and Procedures, conditions of service, employment legislation, codes of practice etc.
- Advise and support managers/schools with disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and all other employment related procedures/practices as required.
- Assist and support managers/schools in the investigation and preparation of the statement of case for disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work and sickness absence matters.
- Advise, and support Children’s Service’s management and provide advice to schools in the recruitment and selection of staff, ensuring that the process is conducted in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures, including the protocols agreed with payroll, pensions, and the HR Transactional team.
Applicant Requirements:
- Educated to a Academic Degree Level or equivalent or a significant level of experience relevant to the post.
- Recent experience.
- Experience of supporting a team according to available resources and skill levels and working co-operatively with others.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of licensing
- Good organisational skills
