Pay Rate: £31.48 per hour
Hours: Locum - Part Time - 9 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for learners
- To track and monitor learners in line with service requirements to maximise outcomes for learner.
- To assess learners in line with qualification specifications and awarding body requirements to maximise opportunities for learners
- To provide advice, guidance and support to learners to maximise outcomes for learners and progression opportunities
- To support Managers and Course Leaders to achieve the Service’s required targets
- Create engaging and interactive lessons tailored to individual learner needs, focusing on English and functional skills (Entry Level to Level 2).
- Regularly assess learners' progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain records of their achievements to support their development.
- ontribute to the planning and continuous improvement of the Functional Skills curriculum, ensuring content is relevant, practical, and in line with current educational standards.
Requirements of the Functional Skills Tutors:
- A recognised teaching qualification (Level 3) Such as QTS or PGCE.
- Demonstrable IT Skills.
- Hold a recognised subject specialism qualification at a minimum of level 3.
- Current experience of teaching in a post- 16/further education/adult education setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
