What you will do:
- Collaborate with adult-focused practitioners to address issues such as substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental health, informing assessments and plans.
- Work with children and families encountering challenges such as neglect, sexual harm, and parental learning difficulties.
- Lead on complex cases, providing high-level professional and statutory advice to other Social Workers.
- Undertake advanced assessments and provide detailed outcome-focused analyses, including court reports and child permanence records (CPRs).
- Represent the service in legal proceedings with confidence and expertise.
- Manage challenging cases with independence and sensitivity, maintaining high standards of practice.
- Chair appropriate meetings, ensuring effective plan reviews and quality of care.
- Model and facilitate reflective practice among peers.
