Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Intensive Outreach Team.
Location: Canvey Island
Pay Rate: £26.78 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Type: Locum contract
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Main Duties:
- Provide supervision to junior staff
- Act as an independant practitioner within a defined community setting, while liasing with other professionals as necessary
- Manage a defined caseload
- Responsible for the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care within agreed parameters ,and have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation, which govern current service provision and audit
- Responsible for ensuring effective communication pathways exist
- Responsible for ensuring the promotion of equality diversity and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
- NMC Registration
