Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Early Intervention Team.
Location: Ashton-under-Lyne
Pay Rate: £26 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Type: Locum, 6-month contract/ongoing block booking.
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (hours flexible between 8am and 8pm). Part time will be considered.
Main Duties:
- To provide care coordination (case management) to an identified group of patients open to the team- patients identified as being in the early phase of a psychotic illness.
- This will include; the assessment of needs and delivery of interventions in line with currently identified best practice; risk assessment and management and safeguarding where appropriate.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
- NMC Registration
- Experience working with serious mental illness
- Knowledge and skills in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care of clients with serious mental illness.
