Main duties of the Dietitian:

  • Manage own specialist caseload and provide nutritional and dietetic advice in specialist area to medical, health care professionals and other agencies
  • Assess plan and implement treatment programmes and monitor patients in a variety of settings, offering therapeutic dietary advice and education, to address patient’s complex and changing needs
  • Lead service development within own clinical area with support from the team leader and contribute to the nutrition and dietetic service as a whole through participation in service development

Requirements of the Dietitian:

  • Degree or equivalent in dietetics
  • Recent UK experience working as an Dietitian
  • Registered with the HCPC to work in the UK
