Clinical Nurse Manager (Days) – Psychiatric Services
Location: Rathfarnham, Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €57,198 - €67,621 per year
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (78 hours fortnightly)

Our client, a well-regarded mental health service provider in Dublin, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to join their multidisciplinary team. This role will lead Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, contributing expertise to psychiatric nurse management and patient care.

Role Overview

This permanent position is ideal for a dedicated psychiatric nurse leader committed to delivering high-quality care and coordinating service development. You’ll manage care within a team including psychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy, and more, providing exceptional treatment to adults with complex mental health needs, including conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s disease, and mood disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Leadership: Drive and oversee operational and strategic development for the nursing team, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure top-tier compliance with safety and risk management standards, collaborating with healthcare teams on goal setting and care planning.
  • Operational Management: Lead change initiatives within the nursing service, supporting a therapeutic and recovery-focused environment.
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: Engage with residents, families, and healthcare staff in delivering patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Registered Psychiatric Nurse with An Bord Altranais/NMBI (or eligibility to register).
  • Experience: 5+ years post-qualification experience, including 2+ years at a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 level, ideally in acute mental health settings.
  • Skills: Proven leadership in team management, budgeting, compliance, and governance.
  • Professional Development: Evidence of continuing education and knowledge of Clinical Governance in a healthcare setting.
