What you will do:
- Work effectively with children and young people who are subject to Children Looked After (CLA) status and those under Special Guardianship Orders (SGO).
- Undertake comprehensive assessments, CLA reviews, and care and support meetings to ensure optimal outcomes for children and families.
- Conduct regular visits to ensure the well-being and development of children and young people in care.
- Compile detailed court reports to revoke Care Orders when necessary and manage the process seamlessly.
- Update connected persons assessments to secure SGOs for children and young people residing with kinship carers, facilitating the transition from Care Orders when suitable.
- Manage the dynamics of the Family and Friends Team, handling cases involving Kinship Fostering and children on Special Guardianship Orders.
- Participate in duty assignments, contributing to the overall team effort in delivering high-quality social work services.
