Salary: £28,000 - £37,500 per annum (negotiable salary, plus excellent benefits and £3k joining bonus)

About the Role:

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiology Cath Lab Nurse to join our client's team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide exemplary planned care for patients both pre- and post-cardiac catheter lab procedures, ensure the team delivers effective patient care through appropriate clinical leadership, participate in the pre-assessment of all cath lab patients when required, and contribute to the development and improvement of their cardiology services.

Who They’re Looking For:

  • NMC registered
  • Minimum of 1-2 years post-graduation experience in Cath Lab
  • Ideally, experience in cardiology, but training is provided
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective team player
  • Experience in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of cardiac cath lab procedures
  • ILS certification
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Clinical reasoning skills applied to complex and varied patient case mixes
  • Ability to challenge consultants to influence evidence-based practice
  • Sharing evidence-based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards
  • Experience partnering with consultants and participating in innovative solutions for the service
  • Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge
  • Mandatory training requirements including infection control and health and safety competencies
  • Proficiency with equipment and medical devices
  • Training on MS Office and other relevant packages
  • English language proficiency to IELTS 7.0
  • Auditing skills across clinical standards and departments
  • Professional assessment skills
