UK/International Partnerships & Accounts Manager

Since joining Sanctuary in 2010, Marc has played a key role in building communities of health and social care professionals from scratch.

His first ever role at Sanctuary was in allied healthcare recruitment, a completely new division back then. Here, Marc found his career calling. Within a few months, he had a large volume of allied healthcare professionals on placement and supported other recruitment consultants in growing their own communities. For the next seven years, he helped to manage the rapidly growing team and, to this day, fondly recalls those years with pride.

After taking a break in 2017 to travel the world, visiting Asia, New Zealand Central and South America, Marc returned to Sanctuary in social work recruitment where he enjoyed similar success.

When the opportunity arose for him to merge his health and social care recruitment expertise, he took on the role of UK/International Partnerships and Account Manager.

Today, Marc spends most of his time connecting with new clients to identify the best permanent recruitment solution for them. Then, as the first point of contact, he creates a pathway for them to connect with Sanctuary’s permanent and international teams.

Known for his lateral thinking and ability to seek new opportunities, Marc is all about collaboration. He understands the client’s challenge intricately before recommending the right permanent recruitment solution.

When he’s not at work, he loves spending time with his family and taking his cocker spaniel for walks. A self-confessed sports addict, he enjoys playing golf and is a supporter of his local football club, Ipswich Town. As for travelling, there are still a few places on his wish-list, including the Philippines, although just as a holiday this time!
