Billy heads up Sanctuary’s Executive and Non-Clinical health and social care recruitment services.
Since 2018, Billy has focused his efforts on growing Sanctuary’s executive recruitment offering. As such, he has built trusted relationships with health and social care leaders throughout the UK, who lean on him and his team to identify their next career move. That’s why clients turn to Billy to find the right people to lead their teams and why he is the ‘go-to’ person to help find strong candidates for ‘hard-to-fill’ senior management roles.
Taking a granular approach, he gets to know the client and candidate on an intricate level so that when he or another member of his team makes a match, it’s a strong one.
Talking about his main motivation, he says it’s “to help people be the best they can be by introducing them to new opportunities,” which is something he has carried into non-clinical recruitment.
As Head of Non-Clinical Recruitment, he works directly with hiring managers to place temporary and permanent non-medical staff. The process of finding the right people is not dissimilar to executive recruitment. Billy takes the time to understand each client’s recruitment needs and hiring goals before identifying suitable candidates with the support of a dedicated and friendly team.
He is passionate about making a difference and is a great role model. An excellent manager and colleague, he makes sure that everyone around him is ok by making himself available to talk.
As one of the most determined people you could meet, he carries this same energy into his personal life. He plays football semi-professionally while raising a young family and loves to read. From his readings, he has some pretty big ambitions as he wants to take his children to see as many different places in the world as possible.
