Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a Building Control Surveyor to work on a locum basis initially for 3 Months with Brent Council.
This role is paying £60 per hour and you will be required to work 37 hours 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities of the Building Control Surveyor:
- Conduct plan assessments to verify compliance with current building regulations and standards.
- Undertake site inspections at key stages of construction, providing detailed reports and guidance.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project compliance.
- Provide professional advice on matters such as fire safety, energy efficiency, and structural integrity.
- Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes, building technologies, and best practices in building control.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, decisions, and outcomes to meet audit requirements.
Applicant Requirement of the Building Control Surveyor:
- A recognised qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, or a related field (e.g., HND, BSc).
- Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CABE, CIOB) is preferred.
- Proven experience in building control, surveying, or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and associated legislation.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
